The Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji, has charged couples to desist from bringing third parties to their matrimonial homes advising them to “Let your matrimonial home be your court when there is a little misunderstanding; let your pillow be your lawyer; let the bed be your judge; then God is the General Overseer in that room”.

The Speaker gave the admonition on Sunday at Ugba Primary School, Umuahia, during the wedding reception of former Miss Oluchi Joy Nwoko and Evang. Chima Eugene Afuka now Evang and Mrs Chima Eugene.

He further stated that as a couple they should always love one another. “Both of you are married today because God ordained it. Hinge your marriage on God because the success of every marriage depends on God”, he advised.

Continuing, the Speaker urged the couple to always learn to be submissive to one another as they begin the journey of marriage.

“Learn to be submissive to one another, learn to love one another. Do not involve third parties in your marriage”, the Speaker concluded.
