The National Assembly Election Petition Tribunal Sitting in Umuahia the Abia State Capital on Monday sacked the Senate whip Senator Orji Uzor Kalu from Senate.
Senator Orji Kalu who was controversially declared winner by the Returning Officer for Abia North during the February Presidential Election was sacked by the Tribunal after his election was declared invalid.
The Tribunal ruling on the Petition by Senator Mao Ohuabunwa of the Peoples Democratic Party orders a Supplementary Election on Two Local Government Areas in Abia North.
