The position taken y Adeseye Ogulewe of Lagos State in the newspapers on Friday should force Ndigbo to put on their thinking cap.
While justifying the two-week intensive campaign embarked on by President Jonathan and matching it with the demands of the South West which Ogunlewe even suggested should be signed by the out-going president, the former minister of worked in the same breathe counted the South East as part of the areas that have been won by Jonathan,
Much as we do not agree with him, the mere fact that he could muster the courage to classify his own area as the beautiful bride which needs to be courted, it is bad enough that the PDP echelon thinks of Ndigbo as a place that can be taken in exchange fr nothing.
What has anybody in the PDP promised to do for the South East and how will Ndigbo believe them against the background of failed promises of the past four years?
When was the last time President Jonathan stayed two weeks in the South East, visiting traditional rulers and community leaders, preparing to sign a negotiated agreement?
We need to question the way we allow the deceit of a few self-styled leaders who gather in Enugu to share money rather than articulate issues of importance, but that does not exonerate the PDPD who has been assisted by some docile Igbo leaders in their fold to take Ndigbo for grated.
The solution in defining a new path lies in making a fresh political statement by vote massively for the APC, who have promised liberal import duties, stable electricity, free education, integrate tackling of erosion sites and a completed second Niger ridge without a toll gate to milk the people of the South East dry when ther are getting theirs free as federal presence.
We urge Anambra and the rest of Ndigbo to vote for General Muhammadu Okechukwu Buhari, Senator Gov Rochas
Okorocha,Senator Chirs Ngige in Anambra Central, Senator Osita Izunaso in Orlu Senatorial District, Imo State and Hon Acho Obioma in Abia Central District among other APC National Assembly contestants, because they have a better plan for anigbo
