Goodluck Jonathan has in the last 7yrs been credited with breaking of histroy and record,he has been seen as a man whose rise to the number seat one in Nigeria came as a result of breaking records in Politics.
In 1999 Jonathan broke record as the first University lectuer to venture into Politics when he was nominated as the running mate to Chief D.S.P Alamiesiya the due won the election.
In 2006,Alamiesiya was impeached over finacial misappropriation and Jonathan broke record as the first Deputy Governor to be sworn in as Governor of a state in Nigeria.
In 2007,when PDP were looking for whom to run with the Late Yar-dua as Vice President,Jonathan once again Broke record as the First Governor to be nominated as Vice Presidential and subsequently after the duo won that election he became the First Governor to be Vice President in the history Nigeria.
When Yar-dua Died in 2009,the then Vice President Goodluck Jonathan broke record when he was Sowrn in As Vice President of the federal Republic of Nigeria and as the First southern minority man in Nigeria to be President.
This 2015,Goodluck Jonathan is about breaking record as the first sitting President that was ousted out of power through a democratic process by the masses that voted him in 2011.
