The Rivers state Police Commisoner CP.Dan Bature has ordered immediate release of all the members of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Rivers state arrested within the electioneeering campaigns over allegations of ranging from instigation of violent,tearing of PDP posters,being in possession of arms.
Investigation by Promise Uzoma Okoro revealed that before now,over 4 caretaker committees in the state has been in detention on the order of the Police Boss,further check by PUO had it that a particular member of the PDP in Etche L.G.A of the state whose son was appointed Caretaker committee of the council was framed up by his father.
PUO also learnt that from Ikwere L.G.A,Samuel Nwanosike popularly called (Ishi) has used the police to harass and intimidate the members of the APC,further information confirmed to PUO that same measures was melted on the APC members in all the 23 L.G.A of the state.
But few days after the APC candidate Buhari was declared winner,the Police has so far changed their loyalt from the PDP in Rivers State.
