“Party Leadership uncomfortable with Chikwe Udensi”
Barely four days to the governorshiship election in Abia state,PUO has learnt that a major crises has hit the Party following several complains and fear of defeat by the party leadership.
Promise Uzoma Okoro learnt that the crises may not be unconnected with the defeat of the PDP presidential candidate on march 28th Presidential election in Nigeria,which the PPA adopted as a sole candidate. But a source close to the State Chairman of the PPA in Abia state Chief Emeka Okafor who spoke to PUO on condition of anonymity stated that since the emergence of Chief Chikwe Udensi,the party has been having difficulty convincing Abia electorate to vote for the Party despite the road construction reportedly embarked upon by its candidadate.
It will be recalled that Chikwe Udensi who was formerly a member of the All Progressive Grand Allaince(APGA) left the party to pitch tenth with the PPA when it was clear that his former party has ceded the ticket to Alex Oti.
