The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in Enugu State has directed all its members to vote for the PDP governorship candidate in Enugu State during the governorship elections on Saturday, April 11, 2015.
Addressing members of the party at their secretariat in Enugu, the Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance in the state, Okechukwu Nkoloagu, said that the party has found a worthy person in the PDP governorship candidate, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, and agreed to endorse him for the governorship race.
He explained that the party executives in the state have met and concluded that there is no other candidate in the state that can bring development to the people of Enugu State.
He, however, added that as APGA supporters vote for the PDP in the governorship polls, they should also go out enmasse and vote for APGA candidates contesting for the state assembly seats.
Corroborating this new development, the APGA senatorial candidate in Enugu East senatorial elections also affirmed the position of the party on the endorsement.
Present at the gathering was also the PDP governorship candidate in the state, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi and his running mate who thanked the leadership of APGA in Enugu State for their magnanimity.
