Justice Ahmed Mohammed of the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has declined to order members of the Ekiti State House of Assembly to maintain status-quo on the impeachment proceeding they initiated against Governor Ayodele Fayose.
Even though the court refused to grant the application which Fayose made through his lawyer, Mr. Ahmed Raji, SAN, it however ordered members of the Ekiti State House of Assembly to appear before it on April 29 to show cause why they should not be stopped from impeaching the plaintiff (Fayose).
