The military and Police are currently on a loggerhead with the supporters of the 22 Local Government Chairmen in Rivers state whose election were nullified by Justice Lanbi Akanbi of the Federal High Court sitting in Portharcourt,Rivers State.
A source who disclose the development to PUO REPORTS said that the military and Policemen who were drafted to Obioakpor Local Government Area believed to be a contending L.G.A met the resistence of the members of the All Progressive Congress,who are supporting thier pricnipals.
It will be recalled that PUO REPORTS had reported that the 22 Council Chairmen in Rivers maintained that,they are unaware of any judgement credited to Justice Akanbi and as such,they remained incharge of the Local Government Areas.
