Those expecting the Governor Of Rivers State Barr.Nyesom Wike to follow the footstep of President Mohammadu Buhari and his vice Prof.Yemi Osibanjo to minimize the cost of governance by cutting their various Salaries,may have been disappointed,as the governor has vowed never to follow suit.
Governor Wike was speaking on a Radio Programme(ViewPointPh),Wike maintained that he had done what the law demanded by declaring his assets with the Statutory body in charge,and he can never play to the gallery by cutting his Salary.
“I heard some people has cut their salaries,i cant do that,how much is my Salary? they are just playing to the Gallery,For what reason should i cut my Salary”
The governor also responded to other Sundry issues in Rivers State
