The Rivers State Police Command will permanently seal off the 23 Local Government Areas on Monday 13th July 2015,PUO Reports Exclusive Learnt.
The decision to seal off the Council’s may not be unconnected to the fact that the APC Led Federal Government is coming for a payback time for all the injurious pains inflicted on them on the supervision of Nyesom Wike,the then Minister For State for Education under the orders of the Formaer Inspector General Of Police.
But a source who spoke to PUO REPORTS on saturday,maintained that the Rivers State Governor has no right to act as the Public Relation Office by allowing his Caretaker Committee Chairmen to invade the Council Chairmen this morning.
PUO REPORST Recalled that the 22 Caretaker Committee Chairmen in Rivers State invaded the Local Government Councils to carry out official functions as the Council Executives.
A Police source however revealed that Saturdays are not working days,and so whatever that is being done in the Local Government remains illegal,he acknowledge a security report that members of the All Progressive Congress(APC) were warming up as well to invade the Councils,and the Police will not allow any breakdown of Law and Order in the state.
Rivers State had gone aflame following the rulling of Justice Lambo Akanbi Of the Federal High Court 1 which declared the MAY 23rd Local Government Election in Rivers State as Null and Void.
