The Caretaker Commitee Chairmen of the 22 Local Government Areas in Rivers State has vowed not to vacate their various Councils for anybody or group of persons parading as Elected Council Chairmen.

One of the Chairmen who spoke to PUO REPORTS maintained that the judgement of Justice Fishim did not order them to vacate office
“yes its true that a court ruled against the PDP,but the details and meaning of the judgement was not for us to vacate our various Local Government Areas,so we are all incharge of the Council Affairs” He said
Recalled that the National Industrial which two weeks ago barred the State Governor from carrying out any action against the 22 Local Government Chairmen, frowned today Monday July 13 over the judgement of justice Lambo Akanbi, which disobeyed it order by ordering the chairmen out of office.
The former Governor of Rivers State Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi had a week to the expiration of his tenure conducted Local government election in Rivers State
