Barely any Last Minute change of plans,the Nigeria Police force is Set to permanently seal off the 22 Local Government Areas in Rivers State pending the decision of the Court of Appeal.
A Police Source who spoke with PUO REPORTS early Tuesday,acknowledged that the men of the Rivers State Police Command have been put on alert to ensure there is no break down of law and order.
A Top APC Chieftain who simply gave his name as Amadi told PUO REPORTS via a telephone interview that the APC cannot allow injustice to prevail in Rivers State,he argued that the National Industrial court and the Federal High Court has equal jurisdiction,and in the case of the 22 APC Chairmen vs the Rivers State Government,National Industrial court was first to restrain the Rivers State Government and her cronies from tampering withe the tenure of the Chairmen.
The National Industrial Court presided over by Justice J.T Fishim had on June 22nd 2015 restrained the Rivers State House of Assembly,The Rivers State Government and any of its cronies from carrying out any action that may seem tantamount,pending the determination of the suit,while Justice Lambo Akanbi of the Federal High Court sitting in Portharcourt on Friday July 9th 2015 declared the MAY 23rd Local Government election conducted by Former Governor Amaechi as “null and void” which necessitated the state governor Barr Wike to appoint Caretaker Committee Chairmen.
PUO REPORTS gathered that the APC Chairmen have gone with the ruling of Justice J.T Fishim to show the Inspector General of Police,who may likely order his men to takeover the 22 Local Government Areas pending the decision of the APPEAL Court on the matter.
