A Youth of Opobo in Opobo-Nkoro Local Government Area Rivers State has lambasted the sacked Chief of Army staff Major Gen.Kenneth Minimah over what he described as “Joining the enemies to his his own Brother”
General Kenneth Minimah hails from Opobo and was appoited a Chief of Army staff by former President Goodluck Jonathan,yesterday President Mohammadu Buhari fired all the security Chiefs in the county and appointed New hands as replacement.
The Youth posted this on his Facebook page
“He had opportunity to protect and defend his fatherland,
including King Jaja’s heritage, Opobo. He had an eternal
privilege to stand with his people last April in their desire to
protect their future, but he snubbed piety, despised
conmunal comradeship and spite commonsense. Rather, he
allied with the oppressors, persecuted his nativity, built an
alliance with electoral marauders. Now he’s going home,
sacked by the man he joined to fight against. Now,he’s
returning to Minimah Town in Jaja’s Opobo, bereft of
communal salute; denied of filial comradeship. What an
opportunity lost! What an era written in blurred ink!
