The Chairman Caretaker committee of Bonny Local Government Area in Rivers State Mr.Odiare Princewill says no amount of election tribunal will remove the Rivers State Governor Barr Nyesom Wike from office as governor.
Mr. Odiare Princewill stated this while speaking during a thanksgiving rally organised by the House of Reps member representing Asari-Toru/Akuko Toru in the Federal House Of Reps Mrs.Goodhead in Bonny
“We will keep showing them the way,PDP is Rivers State and Rivers State is PDP,the victory of our sister Goodhead is a victory for the people and democracy,it shows that all the PDP Reps,Senate,and even the Governor of the state will emerge victorious at the Tribunal”
“Cheif Barr,Nyesom Wike was elected by the people and he has the masses support,no amount of tribunal will remove him from office” He stated
It will be recalled that the National Assembly election petition Tribunal sitting in Abuja struck out the petition of the APC candidate challenging the declaration of the PDP candidate as winner of Asari Toru and Akuku-Toru Fede Constituency over the failure of the APC to notice INEC within the stipulated 21days after choosing their candidates for election.
