The Rivers State Police commissioner Mr.Chris Okey Ezuike Friday July 24 2015 ordered the PDP Caretaker Committee Chairmen to immediately dissolve the Traffic Decongestion Committee set up in their various Local Government Areas.
The Police Order is connected to the massive looting of goods and services by the Traffic Decongestion Commitee and street trading control members,that were set up by All the PDP Led Caretaker Committee Council Chairmen in Rivers State.
Puo Reports had few days ago reported stories of massive looting,beaten,burning of the traders tables in the guise of enforcing the purported order by the thugged Bosses.
Some Poor traders who were victims of the massive looting of their goods,had during the week cried out for help,and cursed the day Nyesom Wike was brought in to power by the sheer wickedness of Mrs.Dame Gesilah Khan,even against the will of Rivers People.
We have in the past few weeks witnessed the return of touts on major streets of Rivers State
The Rivers Police Boss while given the order maintained that the force has a committee that is saddled with the responsibility of decongesting the city of Portharcourt and that the activities of the committee should not be duplicated by anybody.
