Ahead of the ruling of the issue of jurisdiction by the Rivers State Governorship Election Tribunal Sitting in Abuja,Rivers State Governor Barr.Nyesom Wike has relocated To Abuja.
Sources who saw the governor on Saturday in Abuja revealed that Barr.Wike is not leaving any stone upturned on his bid to bribe his way through, Puo Reports learnt that the Governor met close doors with Justice Mary Odili,the wife of former governor Peter Odili,who strongly supported Wikes candidature.
The Chief Justice of Nigeria,Justice Mahmmud Mohammed had after the two times visit of Barr.Nyesom Wike to his office uninvited was made public,denied he received the Rivers State Governor,although he acknowledged that Wike paid him an unsolicited Visit Twice
The Rivers State Governorship election Tribunal sitting in Abuja had fixed Monday 28th July to rule on wether or not Dr.Dakuku Peterside,the candidate of the APC was qualified to contest the April 11th Governorship election in Rivers State.
Wike’s moves is believed to be unconnected to the Ruling by the National Assembly Election Tribunal also sitting in Abuja which struck out the two petitions brought by the candidates of the APC for Akoku-Toru/Asari Toru and Ogba Egbema-Ndoni Federal Constituencies Hon.Dawari George and Lucky Odili who were challenging the victory of Hon.Boma Goodhead and Obi of the PDP
