Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, yesterday Announced the appointment Of Prof Blessing Didia as acting Vice-Chancellor of the state University of Science and Technology (RSUST).A statement issued on Thursday by the Special Adviser to Wike on Media and Publicity, Sir Opunabo Inko-Tariah, said the governor acted “in exercise of the powers vested in him as visitor to the Rivers State University of Science and Technology.” The statement also said the governor approved the appointment of Prof. Boma Oruwari as acting deputy vice-chancellor of the university

“Both appointments are sequel to the expiration of the tenure of Prof. Barineme B Fakae as vice-chancellor and are with effect from Friday, July 31, 2015,” Inko-Tariah said.
