The Governor Of Delta State Sen. Ifeanyi Okowa may have taken a dangerous decision following the cancellation of the Delta State Free Medical Programme that has been running for over 16yrs in Delta and the move by his administration to exploit fees from Primary and Secondary School Students in the State.
Investigation carried out by PUO REPORTS revealed that the free maternal care for pregnant women and children between the age of 0-5 has been stop by the governor.
“How can the poor who cannot even take care of their welfare cope with this development”? One of the victims asked PUO REPORTS Correspondent in Asaba.
Reason behind the decision of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa to cancel the Delta state free Medical Programme and the free maternal care fro pregnant women and children is yet to be made Public by authorities of the state Ministry of Health.
