The Rivers State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal Sitting In Abuja will on Monday August 10th 2015 begins the Pre-trial Of the Petition brought by Dr.Dakuku Peterside of the All Progressive Congress(APC) Against the electoral Victory of Governor Nyesom Wike of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP).
Peterside and his party(APC) had filled a ptition dated May 3rd 2015 at the Election petition Tribunal seeking an order by the Justice Muazu Abdukadir Pindiga three men Panel of Justice for a fresh election in Rivers State.
Recall that international observers had declared Rivers State election as fraudulent,violent and an excessive display of strength between the electoral and hired thugs who unleashed mayhem to the harmless Rivers People,sending a total of 97 People in their early grave.
Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State who enjoyed the total support of Nigerias Former Firstlady Dame Faka Jonathan had vowed that nothing on earth could stop his Governorship ambition,a threat which was successfully carried out with the help of the Compromised Security Agencies.
INEC Declared Nyesom Wike with over 1.2Million votes against Dakuku Peterside of the APC who was allocated a paltry votes of 120,000,which was rejected by the Rivers State Chapter of the APC.
The Tribunal,which has successfully removed all stumbling blocks initiated by the PDP and counsels to Nyesom Wike will on Monday begin its Pre-trial hearing which will help it to deliver a judgement in favour of Dakuku or against Nyesom Wike.
Checks by PUO REPORTS has it that the Tribunal which was inaugurated on May 13th 2015 will be marking its 89 Days of sitting on Monday 10th July 2015
