The Rivers State Governor Barr.Nyesom Wike has sacked the Rivers State Accountant General Sir Ngozi Y. Abu from office.His sack was contained in a statement issued by Mr.Simeon Nwankaudu,Special Assistant Media to the Rivers State Governor,no reason was however give for his Sack.
The Director Treasury, Sir Dagogo R. Abere has been appointed by Barr.Wike as Acting Accountant General of the state.
Sir Ngozi Y Abu who hails from Ahoada East Local Government Area was appointed by Former Governor Amaechi into that Office.
