I Removed Wike As My Chief of Staff Because He was a Popular Criminal Says Chibuike Amaechi

Former Governor Of Rivers State Mr.Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi yesterday in Portharcourt gave reason why he removed the Rivers State Governor Barr.Nyesom Wike as his Chief of Staff during his days as the Governor of Rivers State.

Amaechi who spoke during the commissioning of a church building he facilitated in Portharcourt said the current Rivers State Governor was doing contract with his Office as Chief of Staff to Rivers State Government between 2007 and 2010 .

“”One of the reasons I removed Nyesom Wike as Chief of Staff was that I sat down and discovered that he was doing contracts,i discovered that if I sign a document for another person, he will seize it and ask the person for bribe”.. “At the start of government,as Chief of Staff,he wore long robes that he was a Muslim, today,he is going on bended knees in churches, let me tell you,don’t take God for granted “..

Amaechi who also dismissed insinuation in some quaters that he was afraid of the Justice Omereji led Judicial Panel of inquiry which was set up by Governor Nyesom Wike To Probe his administration stated that he will appear before the commission only if all the neccessary requirement by the Nigerian constitution is met by the Rivers State Governor

“The panel is illegal, they should comply with the laws guiding the Constitution of such panel,when they do that,i will appear and defend myself”
