The Reports making round the print,online and Social media over the Endorsement of one of the Aspirants justling for the Bayelsa APC Governorship Ticket has increased confusion in the mind of some All Progressive Congress(APC) in Bayelsa State.
On Monday a publication on thisday Newspaper said that the meeting called by the National Leadership Of the APC,was to announce Timi Alaibe as the sole candidate of the party in the forthcoming December 5th 2015 Election in Bayelsa State.
During the meeting,PUO REPORTS learnt that Chief Timi Alaibe did not utter any comment nor raised any objection over the decisions reached at the meeting between the National Leadership of the APC and all the 19 aspirants who picked the APC Nomination form ahead of the Primaries this saturday.
Already Preye Aganaba and Cheif Timipre Sylva who both contributed to the formation of the APC in Bayelsa State,are contemplating a plan B in abid to neutralize the sponsored publication purportedly saying that the National Leadership of the APC has endorsed Timi Alaibe as the sole candidate of the APC.
On an enquiry last night over the reports,Chief Timi Alaibe told PUO REPORTS that when he saw the reports on the pages of Newspaper,he was thinking it emanated from the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP),but his close investigation revealed that Chief Timipre Sylva was the sponsor of the Publications.
Timi stated that there are plots to paint him as corrupt,using his days at the Niger Delta Developement Commission(NDDC) when he held sway as the Managing Director,so that President Mohammadu who came to power with the sole aim of fighting corruption,will frown at his aspiration.
The APC scheduled its primaries this saturday in Yenagoa
