Information reaching our newsroom indicates that the embattled governor of Rivers State has bribed the over 46 Senators elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) with N3million naira to stage a walk-out as soon as the Senate President mentions the name of the former Rivers State Governor Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi for confirmation.
PUO REPORTS Learnt that the senator Representing Rivers South East Senatorial District in the Senate Senator Olaka Wogu is alledged to be in charge of this evil distribution of the money to all the Senators elected on the platofrm of the PDP.
This media learnt that Senator Olaka Wogu is still aggrieved with the former Rivers State governor Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi,for questioning him whilehe held sway as rivers state governor on why he(Olaka Wogu) should take up up to N17Billion naira from the NDDC purse and refused exceutive the project the funds were released to him for.
Some of the Senators elected on the platform of the PDP have already succumbed to this monetary inducement engineered by sacked rivers state governor Nyesom Wike and being executive by Senator Olaka Wogu.
It will be recalled that the Senate adjourned plenary yesterday after concluding the screening of the remaining five Ministerial nominees.
