Abia Tribunal Delivers Judgement Tomorow

The Abia state election petition tribunal sitting in Umuahia
will on Tuesday 3rd of November 2015 delivers Judgement on the
petition brought by the candidate of the All Progressive Grand Alliance(APGA)
in the April 11th and 25th governorship election in Abia
state Dr.Alex Oti

Alex Oti is challenging the declaration of Governor Okezie
Ikpeazu who was the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) as the
winner of the governorship election conducted by the Independent National
Electoral Commision(INEC).

Alex Oti on his petition to the Justice Usman Bwala led
three member panel of the Abia state governorship election petition tribunal is
praying the court to declare him as the rightful winner of the election since
he pulled the highest number of Votes from 13 Local Government Areas,before the
results of Obingwa,Ugwunnabo and Osisioma were hyped by the PDP

There has been uproar in major cities accros the state
following the rulling of the National Assembly election petition tribunal which
upheld the election of Sen.Theodore Orji who lost his polling unit during the
Senatorial election for Abia Central.

Abia state is among the three states,both Local and
International observers called for cancellation following alleged widespread of
rigging and electoral violence,Rivers and Akwa-Ibom states electin had been
annuled by their various Tribunal Panels
