The Ikwerre Youth Movement(IYM) Obio/Akpor Local government Chapter, has passed a vote of confidence on President Muhammadu Buhari’s style of administration.
The IYM particularly praised the President for his war against corruption and urged him to recover all ill gotten wealth from corrupt political office holders in the past.
The Ikwerre Youth Movement expressed gratitude to the President for appointing its Grand Patron,the immediate past Governor of Rivers State,Two time Chairman Nigerian Speaker’s Conference,two time Chairman Nigerian Governors’Forum ,Rt Hon Chibuike Amaechi CON,Minister of Transportation.
The IYM believes that with Amaechi as Transportation Minister,the Country will witness a turn-around in transport sector especially in the Aviation Industry.
The Youth Movement says it fully supports the Governorship ambition of Dr Dakuku A Peterside of APC,saying it will mobilise Obio/Akpor people for APC.The IYM condemn in its entirety the use of Rivers State Soil by Biafra agitators for their protests,demostrations or rallies,charging Security agencies to take proactive measures to forestall further occurrence.
