The Independent National Electoral Commission has asked the All Progressive Congress to submit a replacement for its former candidate who died on Sunday to the commission.

this known through a circular released on Tuesday by the Secretary of the body Mrs Augusta Ogakwu over the development in Kogi as a result of the Death of Audi Abubakar who was the flagbearer of the party.
There has been series of mixed reaction over the step to be taken by INEC on the issue,while others are of the view that the Deputy governorship running of the party in Kogi should automatically be allowed to fly the parties flag,others say the runners up during the APC Primaries is qualified to be the parties flagbearer since the late Audi was not declared winner of the election yet.
