In his bid to compliment the effort of the Rivers State governor Barr Nyesom Wike in the area of Security,the Caretaker committee Chairman of Ikwerre Local Government Area Hon. Samuel Nwanosike is set to Launch a security outfit Known as Operation Wipe in the Area.

According to the Chairman of the Council,Operation Wipe is a security outfit put together by his administration to ensure the security of Lives and properties of the people of the L.G.A.
The Chairman stated that the launching of the security outfit became possible following the express approval given to the Council by the Rivers State Police Command.
Puo Reports learnt that the Chairman of the Council has already purchased a Two brand new Hillux Vehicles which will be presented to the Members of the Operation on Friday November 27 2015 during their unveiling and Inauguration at the Council Headquarters.
