The Twenty Two (22) Sacked Local Government Chairmen in Rivers State will tomorrow Tuesday 1st December 2015 know their fate,as the Court of Appeal sitting in Moscow Road porharcourt will call up their case for hearing.
Justice Ejembi Eko of the Portharcourt Division of the court of Appeal had on 11th,12 and 13th of November adjourned till on December 1st 2015 for hearing of the Appeal filled by Hon.Augustine NGO on behalf 21 other of his colleagues.
Although the case was originally believed to end this month,but at the sitting ,Counsel to the Rivers State government told the court that the notice of Appeal was given to him barely 24hrs before the court sitting.
Justice Ejembi Eko said there was no way his court could go ahead to hear the matter,when one of the parties was not properly briefed.
PUO REPORTS has exclusively learnt that a New Senior Advocate of Nigeria(SAN) has been drafted to lead the team of lawyers defending the 22 Sacked APC Council Chairmen.
It is not clear if the court can Hear and deliver Judgement at the same Day,but we at PUO REPORTS will keep you updated
