The Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja few minutes ago nullified the election of Hon Dinebari Loolo, member representing Khana Constituency 2 in the Rivers State House of Assembly.
Recall that the Rivers State election petition tribunal had in October while rulling on the petition brought by the APC candidate Mr Friday Nyeche nullified the said election on grounds that it was marred by massive rigging and violence.
But Hon Dinebari Loolo Appealed the Tribunal Judgement at the Court of Appeal.
The court of Appeal while ruling on the Appeal by Hon Dinebari Loolo stated that his Appeal lack merit and subsequently dismissed the Appeal.
The court ordered INEC to conduct a fresh election in the Area within 90days from today the Judgement was delivered.
