A former Commissioner of Information in Abia State Mr ACB Agbazuere has stated that the wishes of Voters in Obingwa Osisioma and Isialangwa is to go for a rerun instead of cancellation of the entire elections in the three LGA’s as ordered by the Appeal court on Thursday in Owerri.

Mr Agbazuere was reacting to the outcome of the Justice Oyebisi Omoleye led five-member Appeal court Panel of Justices which cancelled the results of the elections held in Obingwa Osisioma and Isialangwa on grounds that Dr Alex Otti and his party established their case beyond every reasonable doubts that there were massive over voting and that the Returning Officer For Abia governorship election Prof Benjamin Ozumba erred in law when he reversed the cancellation of the election held in those areas.

Agbazuere why speaking on Channels Television programme Sunrise Daily monitored by PUO said the Appeal court Justices erred when after upholding the cancellation of the election in the areas went ahead to declare The candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance Dr Alex Otti winner of the April governorship election in Abia State.
According to him it will be a great injustice to disenfranchise three Local government areas thats has the highest number of registered voters in Abia State
