Sacked Abia State Governor Dr Okezie Ikpeazu has run to court to obtain a stay of execusion of the Justice Oyebisi Omoleye led five-member Appeal court panel which ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission to arrange the swearing in of Alex Otti as the duly elected Governor of Abia State.

Contrary to falsehood being peddled by agents of the Sacked Abia State Governor that their lawyers has Appealed the Judgement, PUO can authoritatively report that Ikpeazu and his lawyers is yet to get certified True Copies Of the Judgement as of 1Pm Today.
A phone call forwarded by Promise Uzoma Okoro to the office of the Appeal Court DCR shows that the Judgement is still being photocopied.
The judgement of the Court of Appeal clearly stated that Ikpeazu should vacate office with immediate effect because he never won the April governorship election in Abia State.
