The Rivers State police command has withdrawn its personnel attached to the Chief Whip of the Rivers House of Assembly and member representing Ogu-Bolo State Constituency Hon Evans Bipi.
The action of the Rivers State police command may not be unconnected with the National and State House of Assembly re-run elections coming up in Rivers State.
Comfirming the development to PUO REPORTS on telephone, a Media aide to Hon Bipi Mr Fred Phillips stated that the security details attached to his principal has been withdrawn as his Boss is now left with no Police security.
It was gathered that as a Principal Officer of the Rivers State House of Assembly, Bipi is entitled to one Police security.
The police withdrew two of its men, one officially assigned to him as a Principal officer and the other Hon Evans Bipi applied for.
