The end to the over A year and Eleven Months crises in Assemblies of God Church Nigeria over the Leadership Tussle is gradually coming to an end as the Supreme Court has set the pace to hear and deliver its judgement on the Appeal brought by Rev Prof Paul Emeka, the factional General Superintendent of the church.

The Court yesterday directed Rev Prof Paul Emeka to File his Brief of arguments on or before the 5th of February 2016 to enable the Panel hear from the both parties before arriving at a Final Judgement.
Emeka had approached the Apex court last year seeking an order that will set aside the Judgement of an Appeal Court in Enugu which ruled that the Leadership of Assemblies of God Church Nigeria was not his birth Right.

The court yesterday also granted the prayers of Lawyers to Rev Dr Chidi Okoroafor for An accelerated hearing of the case which makes it easy for the Supreme Court to give it Judgement.
