The General Council of Assemblies of God Church Nigeria has ordained 552 Of its shephereds who had served as Pastors for a period of Ten Years in various Churches in Assemblies of God Church Nigeria as Reverend Ministers.

Performing the Ordination at the National Camp Ground of Assemblies of God Church Nigeria Kilometer 48 Enugu – Abakiliki Highway, Okpoto Ebonyi State, The General Superintendent of Assemblies of God Church Nigeria Rev Dr Chidi Okoroafor charged the Ordained Ministers to ensure that more souls are won for Christ as they return to their various Local Churches.

Speaking from the Books of John chapter 9:4 and 2nd Peter Chapter 3:12 with the Topic : Soul Winning, Rev Dr Chidi Okoroafor told the Ordained Ministers that the existence of the church is primarily for Soul Winning which is why they must ensure that more souls are brought closer to the Kingdom of God.
Among the 552 Newly ordained Reverend Ministers, PUO REPORTS Learnt that 89 were women.
