It was a dramatic moment at the Supreme Court in Abuja when a member of the Seven Man panel of Justices handling the Rivers State governorship election Appeal posed a serious question to Akin Olujinmi the Led Counsel to the Governorship candidate of the All Progressive Congress in Rivers State Dr.Dakuku Peterside.
The Supreme Judge asked the Olujinmi thus: Is the Electoral guidlines bigger than the electoral Act?
It took minutes before Olujinmi could respond to this particular question,his respond was contrary to the particular question he was asked.
That moment increased the Tension at the Supreme Court as members of the APC were seen moody in Court.
Recall that both the Rivers state governorship election petition Tribunal and the Court of Appeal had nullified the April 11th governorship election in Rivers State on grounds of card Reader and flagrant disobedience to the laid down rules by INEC,according to the rulling of Justice Suleiman Ambursa and Justice Dougban Mensem.
The court will deliver its Judgement Today
