Minister of Labour and Productivity Dr Chris Ngige has debunked the malicious Publication rumour which emanated from DAILY POST that he collapsed yesterday during the defence of his Ministries Budget at the National Assembly.
The reports by DAILY POST had gone viral yesterday in the Internent with some Blogs saying he may have Died on the Process.
But reacting to the Malicious and evil Publication,Dr Ngige who spoke to close friends on Telephone Thursday said such reports shows how bitter some people can be,he also declared that he was not even in Nigeria let alone meters close to the National Assembly Complex
Ngige was quoted to have said: “It’s laughable, and a failed cannon targeted at me by never -do- well politicians for selfish interest.”
“I am not in Nigeria, I attended special morning function in Zambia and I’m airborne to South Africa where I will be coming into the country tomorrow, the rumours on the social media and other quarters have to show how petty people can be.”
“I don’t see it as anything but I wish to tell those who still play this outdated and obsolete politics of bitterness to embrace change and know that it is no longer business as usual.”
“The rumour has shown that I’m a great person. The late Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe experienced such dangerous rumour. Those who peddle such rumour in history most often visit there before long.”
