Following the death of Obi Akaeze Edward Ofulue, the king of Ubulu-Uku Kingdom in Aniocha South Local Government Area of Delta State, his 15 year old son Obi (King), Chukwuka Noah Akaeze I, has been installed as the new king.
Obi Chukwuma Akaeze succeeded his father as Obi, after his late father was reportedly murdered by abductor who kidnapped him on the Obior/ Igbodo Road along his driver on January 5,2016.
The incident reportedly threw the kingdom into a great mourning and confusion before kingmakers decided to crown the 15-year old.
However, the deceased king’s 15yrs old year son Obi (King), Chukwuka Noah Akaeze I will henceforth take over the affairs of the palace as he was presented to the members of the Royal family before he was presented to the council of elders at the palace.
The installation ceremony was attended by the chairman of Aniocha South council, Mr. Isaac Anwuzia, traditional chiefs and title holders in the kingdom, religious leaders, women, youths and other stakeholders of the community
