The utterances of the former governor of Rivers State and Minister of Transportation Rt Hon Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi has indeed boosted the support of the members of the All Progressive Congress as members of the Peoples Democratic Party in the state are already expressing fears that the former governor is in for a revenge.
Amaechi had during a Live Radio Programme lambasted Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers and the Rivers State Police Command over what he described as orchestrated arrangements by the duo over the Insecurity challenges in the State.
He further revealed that Soldiers will be taken over the functions of the Police since all indications has shown that the Police has failed to protect the Lives of Rivers People.
Amaechi also vowed that those who cause trouble in the State wont be allowed again during next Saturdays National and State Assembly Rerun in Rivers State.
Some Peoples Democratic Party supporters in Rivers State now live in Palpable fears over what they described as revenge Mission by the Minister of Transportation
It will be recalled that prior to the General elections in Rivers,some Leaders of the All Progressive Congress in the state were arrested on trumped Charges and kept in detention until after the Election
