In carying out the Instruction by Governor Nyesom Wike to Members and supporters of PDP to resist Arrest, the CTC Chairman of Ikwerre Local Government Area Hon Samuel Nwanosike lastnight resisted arrest from military men led by one Captain. Amakura who it was learnt testified against the PDP at the tribunal in Abuja last Year.

PUO REPORTS gathered that troops of armed military men led by Capt. Amakura had ordered the police and other forces at the Local Government Headquaters in Isiokpo t to vacate the LGA premises immediately but the police refused and insisted not they wont leave the premises, which resulted in serious fracas that would have led shutouts between the Police and the Army.
It was further gathered that another Superior Army Officer had order Capt.Amakura and his army to leave the LGA which he obeyed and left.

It was be recalled that Governor Nyesom Wike had enjoined PDP members in Emohua, Ikwerre, Gokana, Tai, Khana, Ogba/Egbema /Ndoni Local Government Area, ONELGA, Ogo/Bolo, Asari Toru and Ahoada-West Local Government Areas to resist any form of intimidation, shooting in the air, illegal arrests by the fake SARS personnel at polling units, RAC centres , ward collation centres and local government collation centres during the Election scheduled Today
