An Attempt by the Suspended,Dismissed and Disfellowshipped former General Superintendent of Assemblies of God Nigeria Rev Dr Paul Emeka to stop his trial at the Upper Area Court over the alleged Certificate forgery case instituted against him has Failed .
PUO REPORTS gathered that Paul Emeka had Applied for stay of proceedings pending the outcome of the Appeal he failed at the Abuja High Court on the Order made by Justice Yusuf Kagarko of the Upper Area Court which asked the Nigerian Police Force to arrest and produce him for trial on the 30th(Today) of March 2016.
At the resumed Sitting of the Court today in Gudu,Abuja,Counsel to the Incorporated Trustees of Assemblies of God Nigeria had opposed the application by Counsel to Paul Emeka.
The Court unanimously adjourned to 5th of May 2016 for Ruling on the Interlocutory Application for Stay of Proceedings on the Order of the Upper Area Court
The Order made by Justice Yusuf Kagarko for the police to produce Paul Emeka to Court is still in Force
The Judge frowned at the Police with dismay for trying to frustrate the trial of Paul Emeka for Certificate Forgery and other Offences
