According to Punch news, The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Ali Modu Sheriff has hit town with renewed efforts to retain his office as the party’s national convention draws nearer.
The party’s national convention which has been slated to hold on May 21,2016 in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. Reports has it that the former governor has intensified efforts to retain his position as the party’s chairman with recent activities.
It has also been gathered that , he has acquired campaign vehicles to achieve his aim as series of meetings have been held with top dignitaries in the party.
It has also been reported that the incumbent chairman has acquired Some vehicles to ease the movement of his campaign team among which was a Honda SUV.
