Abia State Governor Dr Okezie Ikpeazu has described his victory at the Owerri High court as a victory of light over darkness, good over evil.. and called on detractors to shield their sword and join him to develop Abia.
Governor Ikpeazu stated this while Addressing the Press at the Banquet Hall of the Abia State Government House with his Deputy, Sir Udo Oko Chukwu, after the outcome of the Three Separate Court rulings Today
Justice A.I Allagoa of the Federal High Court in Owerri, had today affirmed the election of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State.
Ruling on the matter filed by Mr. Friday Nwosu against, Ikpeazu, Uche Ogah, PDP and INEC, on alleged forgery of tax documents by Governor Ikpeazu, the court ruled that the plaintiff, (Nwosu) was unable to prove that the tax documents where forged.
The court ruled that the tax documents where not forged, and went further to dismissed the matter.
While Justice Okon Abang of the Federal High Court Abuja has formally transferred further proceedings in the matter between Governor Ikpeazu and Uche Ogah to the court of Appeal…as he no longer has jurisdiction to hear the matter.
