A Former General Superintendent of Assemblies Of God Nigeria Rev Dr Paul Emeka who is at the Upper Area Court facing Direct Criminal Complaint Case of Forgery and Use of Forged Documents has petitioned Mrs I Charles Okolie, the Prosecutor sent by the Attorney General to take over the case pending at the Upper Area Court.

Recall that Mrs Charles I Okolie had on the 30th Of August 2016 announced her Appearance on behalf of the Attorney General Of The Federation and Minister Of Justice Mr Abubakar Malami(SAN) to take over the Forgery case Instituted by the Incorporated Trustees of Assemblies Of God Nigeria.

The Petition which was Written by the Lawyer Representing Rev Paul Emeka Barr J.U AJII falsely accused the Prosecutor from the Ministry Of Justice of granting Interviews to the Press when such a thing never happened.

Originally Rev Paul Emeka’s claims was that the Prosecutor did not get approval to come for the Case from the Attorney General of the Federation, but unfortunately the AGF approved for the Ministry to take over the case which is a Criminal One.

Sources at the Ministry Of Justice told PUO REPORTS that since the 31st of August 2016 the development came public, the Prosecutor had been under intense Pressure even from her colleagues who were asking her why she didn’t recommend for the AGF not to take over the Case.

At Yesterdays sitting, the Prosecutor did not come to Court because all the Prosecutors at the Ministry of Justice were sent on Training by the New Director of DPP Mr Mohammed Esu
