Rivers State PDP Chairman, Bro Felix Obuah has commended Teachers, Parents and Pupils of Public Primary Schools for resuming for academic activities despite alleged sponsored attempts by the immediate past governor, Rotimi Amaechi to disrupt school resumption through his proxies.
In a statement issued yesterday by Jerry Needam, the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the Rivers State PDP Chairman, Bro Felix Obuah alleged that the immediate past governor, Rotimi Amaechi through his proxies at the Pentagon Security attempted to stop school resumption but all stakeholders insisted that education remains paramount hence they resumed classes.
Bro Obuah described as unfortunate the desperation of the APC and her leaders in Rivers State, who are prepared to sacrifice the future of the state by employing surreptitious, dubious and deceptive ploys to stop the smooth resumption of public schools as directed by the State government.
He therefore expressed happiness that all education stakeholders in the state appreciate the efforts of Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, through their public support and solidarity with him at all times.
