Abia State Government has warned the Public especially those residing in Uturu,Isiukwuato Local Government Area Of The State to resist the temptation of embarking on any Illegal protests over decision of the Government to relocate the Faculties Of Law and Engineering to Aba and Umuahia Respectively.
PUO REPORTS recalled that the Government through The Commissioner for lnformation and Strategy of Abia State, Comm Bonny Iwuoha disclosed on the 29th of August 2016 that the Abia State government has ordered the immediate relocation of Facilities of Law and Humanities to Umuahia while Faculty of Engineering will be relocated to Aba immediately the permanent is ready. t
But in a latest Release by the Information Commissioner Yesterday,the Government warned those nursing the illegal plans to think twice.

The attention of the Abia State Government has been drawn to illegal plans being made by some evil minded individuals and disgruntled politicians to mobilize some youths of Uturu and neighbouring communities to embark on protest against the good decision of the State Government to relocate the faculties of law, business and Engineering, to the Umuahia and Aba campuses of the Abia State University, ABSU.
The decision which has been applauded by sound Educationists and very eminent citizens, is for the general growth, progress and advancement of the Abia State University.
Therefore Government will not tolerate any wrong moves by any person or group to sabotage genuine efforts towards the enhancement of even development in the University or any other corporate institution owned by Abians.
The Nigerian Police Force and other Security Agencies are hereby directed to arrest and prosecute any person or group of persons trying to ferment crisis within or around the Abia State University Uturu and in any other part of the State.
Traditional rulers and Parents are advised to caution and control their children. This Government will not spare anyone who attempts to tamper with the On-going peaceful atmosphere in Abia State.
