Abia State Governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu, has congratulated his Bayelsa State counterpart, Hon. Seriake Dickson, on his decisive victory at the Supreme Court.
Governor Ikpeazu describes the victory as a reaffirmation of the mandate given to Governor Dickson by the majority of the people of Bayelsa State in the Governorship election concluded earlier in the year.
He also said that it is also a victory for the judiciary which has continued to dispense justice without fear or bias.
In a Statement by his Chief Press Secretary Mr Enyinnaya Appolos,Ikpeazu stated that the PDP-led government and the people of Abia state join their brethren in Bayelsa to celebrate the affirmation of the rule of law and upholding of the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria above partisan considerations and urge Governor Dickson to continue to deliver on his laudable programs that have endeared him to the people
