Minister Of Transportation Mr Chibuike Amaechi has said that no matter the antics of the Governor Of Rivers State,Senator Magnus Abe will be returned to the Senate by the People of Rivers South East Senatorial District.
Amaechi said this today at a mini Rally of the All Progressive Congress in Gokana for the Senatorial Candidate of the Party for Rivers South East Senatorial District Rerun Senator Magnus Abe.
“If there is one place that the APC shouldn’t campaign, where is that? (Crowd roars, “Ogoni!”). God Wike says he must win here… You know why I call him god Wike? Because only God can say that. And since he’s not God, what will happen? (Crowd roars, “he will fail!”). Wike can never be God. He was a small boy under me (crowd jeers and laughs)”.

“The battle is not here at all. The battle is in the Ikwere axis, Kalabari and Ahoada axis, not here.

“He said he would deploy everything. Anything he wants to deploy, let him deploy, we will deploy our own”.

“This is one place we don’t need to campaign. I won’t start to repeat the things we have done in Ogoni area, it’s not important. What is important is, I dare him to do the same things that I did here, including taking your children oversees. Instead of leaving them behind, he returned them to Nigeria. Poor innocent children. Poor children of poor families”.

“What you will do, don’t do like the democrats who went to sleep, come out and vote. In the past elections, we took security for granted, but this time we will not take security for granted. If Wike likes, let him come out”.

“When the SSS invaded the residential lodge of the Akwaibom State government, the governor didn’t go to the gate, what did he do? (Crowd screams: “he called the president”).

‘Mr. President, as I’m talking to you now, SSS people are invading the residential lodge. I don’t know what they’re doing here’. And they were asked to return to Abuja.

Instead of this one to call the president, what did he do? (Crowd shouts “struggled with security!”). Only a thug can do that… Only a thug.

“In all the fight I had with the federal government with president Jonathan, nobody saw me physically battling with the security ( a voice screams “you’re a governor!”). When I became governor, there were so many people appointed by Odili, there were so many businesses by Odili’s people. Did I stop any? (Crowd roars “NO!”). Wike is a thug, he’s not a governor. He doesn’t know what it is to govern”.

“How can you see a governor with murderers murdering people everywhere; giving them appointments everywhere? Ask the one in Ikwerre if he was arrested by SSS for murder in UST. Ask him. He was released by the pressure of government then. Now he’s back killing people everywhere”.

“What you don’t know about life… Let us even assume that we don’t win election in 2019… (Crowd roars, “we will win”). I know we will win, but let us just assume. Maybe… Maybe… There will be a day that Wike will no longer be the governor, and he and his people will account for all the killing in Rivers State. That is why as a governor I was careful with what I did in office, so that if you call me, I’d be able to answer”.
