What happened at the Rivers State House of Assembly in 2013 after a failed impeachment of the then Governor Chibuike Amaechi is about to repeat itself following Indications that the Newly elected Lawmakers under the platform of the All Progressive Congress(APC) may not be sworn in by the Rivers State House of Assembly.
The All Progressive Congress had won about Five State Assembly seats in the December 10 2016 National and State House of Assembly Rerun.
But sources close to the Speaker Rt Hon Daboturudima Adams says the State House of Assembly is about to embark on rehabilitation work in the Complex,which may make it impossible to inaugurate any new Member.
The Independent National Electoral had lastweek issued Certificate Of return to the Newly elected Lawmakers of the State House of Assembly on both Platforms of APC and PDP.
PUO REPORTS has gathered that the Leadership of the All Progressive Congress in Rivers State may mobilize its members for a massive protest against the State House of Assembly incase their fears comes to Pass,a development which will pave way for the Police action.
