The Edo state Governor, Godwin Obaseki yesterday presented the 2017 budget of N150 billion to the State House of Assembly for consideration with Infrastructural development topping with N22.3 billion.
Obaseki who tagged the budget “Consolidation and Prosperity” described it as a pathway to the economic and social prosperity of the people of the state.
Giving the breakdown, Governor Obaseki who noted that the budget would focus on six key areas said N305 million was budgeted for Culture and Tourism; N6.6 billion on Institutional Reforms; N22.2 billion on Economic Revolution; N22.3 billion on Infrastructural Development; N 6.9 billion on Environmental sustainability.
